They can't. He stopped a long time ago. He just doesn't take it off his web site. I've asked him over and over for years.

Actually you can. I purchased a 200A mystery (suppo) ESC a couple weeks ago. They are nice esc's and work good. Just don't push them to the limit or let them get wet. I got 3 runs out of mine before it blew from water getting into it.

It's not the esc in question. The ESC I am talking about is the 200 amp HV esc that looks like a Schulze Esc but, yes the 200 amp units designed by Suppo, knocked off and sold under about ten names are widely available. You have had some luck with them but, I've had a good dozen all end up in flames. You get what you pay for and if you push your equipment hard, you will know what will actually handle 200 amps.

The 200 amp LV unit you can buy for $30 up to $160 just about anywhere on Ebay is rated for 200 amps at 2S. As you go up in voltage, the amp rating decreases. Basically you can only get so many watts out of an esc that size that uses discarded, discontinued FETs and a very simple drive Cct.
