Delta Force Sniper 44 Twins

OK, Fraternal twins. These are some shots of my FE and Gas Delta Force Sniper monos. This is a 44.5 inch hull.

The FE version has a Lehner 3080/8, Schulze 40.160, 10S2P. 2-way SAWS average of 76.94 MPH with a best pass of just over 80. All up weight is 18 to 20 pounds depending on the exact packs I use.

The gas version is brand new. It has an Insane Boats Dominator Pro race mod Zenoah 260 in it with an Insane Boats Dominator Pro pipe. All up weight is 15 pounds with fuel. Prop in the photo is a Propshop 6717/3. Just breaking the engine in so no idea on speeds yet. But it runs just like the FE version. That is the fuel bag in front of the engine. It's a 500ml IV bag.

First race for this will be August 9 & 10 at Legg Lake. Can't wait.

let me ask you this Bill, it seems very few racers in the US have flood chamber?
Am I right? any reason?
I'm not a racer but it seems to be more oftenly used in europe!!!

Flood chambers are not seen on many boats in the US. As far as racing goes the reason is that all races have a retrieve boat. Once you stop or turn over you are a "dead boat" and so even if you had a flood chamber you would not be allowed to resume racing once you are called as a dead boat.
