      $20 for bearing

Not too bad an outcome. Still not sure if this caper is worth it, still trying to work out if i can ever race, if no then i'm probably out, give it a couple of weeks and see.

But if anyone is seriously intrested in a BBY CF rigger RTR @ 120kph, PM me. it might help me make up my mind,

        Bugger!

But with the excahange rate it is close to 200AUD anyhow, but will keep it in mind for future, what are the likely hood of getting a new one under warranty?

i am possibley a little clost to the 200amps to be trying a himodel 200 amper, but will keep it in mind if i decide to reprop.

Should get all the internals back by early next week and on the water the weekend after.

Of all the hobbies I've been into, boats are the biggest biatch of all (well, never flew helis and I won't!). Airplanes are easy, relaxing, reliable. Not sure what it is about boats and then add the element of 'electric' and it can become a nightmare. Every time I go run I swear I'll never run another boat. Haha. I think we just like to be punished.

today i went to run my micro scat cat bl for the first time and since i live on a nature preserve their are nature trails running all through it, so i hopped on my dads atv and road down to the river but since their was a huge lightning storm the other day a giant tree was down in the middle of the path so i had to ride through the brush were i got numerous ticks i kept on going down to the river and when i finally got their i went through a check and my strut breaks so i head home but i cant get the atv started so that takes me like 10 minutes and then i head home

i take a shower and find like 3 ticks on my legs, later i decide to take out my hpi savage i drive that for like 5 minutes then a little black plastic piece breaks that connects to the throttle

needless to say JB-WELD TO THE RESCUE!!!!! lol

Well that was not so much fun.
I was running the cat with a K40 and pulling around the 40mph mark when there was a big ball of water and out of came a floating wreck.
It was drivable back to the launch area and came home so all is good.

This is my oldest operational Balsa boat and was built when I was running 23 turn brushed cans on 6 Ni cells.
It has had a few small cosmetic changes and has served me well. It is clear that this one will not be repaired and I will now replace it.

Matt among others have always warned me of the limitations of balsa and I knew all along that this was on borrowed time running nuts out BL setups.

I am now on the hunt for a glass cat about 18"-22" long. A cheap Chinese hull will do the job so long as it looks nice.

                  This one is done !!
