    Strut height Question?

I'm building a 30" cat and I'm ready to install the stuffing tube...

My question is with the cat on a setup board what is the setup height of the strut, I wanna be level as possible with the strut tube! I don't want no lift from the tube once it's adjusted...

There is no way to predict the strut height on a new hull. So much depends on the prop diameter, sponson design, boat speed and the distance from the sponson transoms to the prop. Best to have the strut adjustable from 1/8" to 5/8".

concerning strut adjustments on cats. I understand lowering the strut will push the bow down. what does raising it accomplish besides less blade in the water?
