Connecting lipo from outside of the boat

Hello so i have been watching some rc boating videos on YouTube and saw that many people are turning everything on from outside of the boat. There is like a red wire running outside the boat and you just have to plug it in
I would like to know how to do that cause it will be easier for me when i'm going to run my boat

    Any info is appreciated

Its called a safety loop, a means of disconnecting the power externally. To prevent accidents should the throttle stick accidentally be moved whilst the boat is armed whilst in the pit area or in a rescue boat. You simply unplug the wire mounted on the deck to break the circuit, a lot of race organisations stipulate you must use a loop.

Ok thanks for the reply. I wanted to use that system cause here where we run there are people running gas too so we have to wait for them to stop running so meanwhile they are running i can tape up my hatch and then when i'm ready connect it

Check out the isolation loop section of the website in my signature fastelectricboats, it has a detailed how-to on a decent way to fit a safety loop (4mm bullets are shown but any bullets will work if sizes are adjusted to suit), and plenty more useful information for the new boater besides. as well as any safety implications being able to tape up in advance adds a lot of convenience to FE boating.

I wish I could take credit, but it was written by Paul Williams as in update to his book from the '90s, he has since left the sport and I took over hosting duties from him so the info would not be lost, as it has been useful to so many. My hope is that it will evolve as and when I learn web design, but for now it is nearly all Paul W.
