Sometimes I can be such an idiot.....

Took the shocker out today to finally have a go on 8s. I used the castle 240 hydra ice for testing (only after the buyer of the esc asked me to check it out to make sure it was good under load) well she ran really well. Smooth, fast and the motor temps were 127 max and esc was 121f max. That's after running it constantly and hard. Well I still haven't had time to put my hatch sealing system on so I've been using tape. On my last run, evidently I didn't seal it good (a touch of tape was on top of the base of the antenna letting water get under it). I let my youngest son drive it towards the end and he was reversing it and it submarined a couple times getting about 1/3 cup of water in it. Castle esc just stopped and the boat floated back in. I dyed it out. Still nothing. Don't stink or anything, just stopped working. Every other time I brought it back in to check temps, there was no water in it. Well I gave the buyer his money back of course and learned to pay attention a little more.

Well here's some videos for your viewing pleasure. ...

    Here's a nice launch....

6s run (don't fall asleep. ..it's slow lol)

8s (all vid's are with the same x648 prop, not the one I'm gonna end up with)

    another 8s

Well I took the remote from my son and did a little reversing myself. I left that out lol. We were amazed at how well it reversed and at first it wouldn't submarine but then it started to. Whoops.

Looks like it was running pretty good on 8s, that 1527 1250kv just doesn't run good on 6s. Did you get the GPS in it?

No, I only got a log on 6s too. It's pretty mild on current it's pulling too. Bigger prop time.

              Congrats on a great build!
Boat will run great once you get everything dialed in, I like the 8s runs!
I posted the CC service bulletin on your other thread, I have a feeling that you can't claim all the credit for the malfunction, if you didn't have the foam, it was an event to happen sooner or later. Sorry, you need to try harder next time!

Hope you get it fixed, I like these ESC's, I bought two just when they were being discontinued and i am holding on to them. I have yet to take the plunge to Swordfish ESC, also bought several Seaking/Turnigy 180a ESC's just in case... My closet is a disaster, if I open the door, all the boat parts will cascade down like a bad land slide! ( sorry, drifting...)
Too many boats, not enough time...

Man this this has a date of 2011. Lol. I think I'm going to get no where with it. I'm hoping someone has the part I need and I can get it going again. This time I will be more careful with it!

It won't work. Esc doesnt arm. I can try it but still does no good as I can't plug it in my castle link because it gets hot as soon as I plug it in....as in withing 10 seconds it'll burn you. Cant be a good thing and I'm scared I may short my receiver out. This board is may communication link with the receiver. Maybe someone has an old esc laying around. I'll just wait it out I guess.
