    revolt new motor problem

I have a aquacraft revolt 30 with a stock 60amp esc. I put a losi stock scte 4x4 motor 2800kv in the boat this weekend. When I went to run the boat it would lose signal after 25 yards and just stop then when I got the boat within the 25 yards it would run fine so I pulled it out of the water and did a bench test. I walked 50yards and everything worked? So I am guessing that the motor is pulling all the juice and the receiver isn't getting enought power? i have made sure the receiver was plugged in firmly.I am running two gen ace 50c 5000mah 2s.

    Thanks for any help!

The high amp draw is pulling down the voltage and browning out the receiver. That 2800 Kv motor is WAY too much for this boat on 4S, especially with the stock prop. You will burn up the ESC with this setup. Better to put the 1800 Kv motor back in, get an m445 prop and tune the setup for high 40s with reliability and good range. 'Way cheaper than a new ESC.....

Not with the stock prop. Not for very long anyway...
Prop 'way down - a GrimRacer 38x55 might work okay, just check temps and don't run too long until you know it's safe to do so.
