    ESC PWM setting?

    What is this for? Are one of these settings better for a spectrum radio? my choices are 8khz 16khz or 32khz. thanks

    I've read that; this setting depends on how many poles your motor has...two pole use the 8khz...6 pole should prolly use 32khz. hth

      I would use the higher rate for the lower KV/rpm motor and lower rate for higher KV/rpm motor!

        The instructions for the Xpower programmable ESC makes cryptic comments about it. They say the settings are only for boats.
        8kHz for common set (lowest Efficiency Loss);
        16 kHz for low 'Impedance' motor;
        32kHz for low 'sensibility reciprocal' motor

        Whatever that all means.

          The motor cogged and moaned on 32 especially during start up, a little better on 18 still some hesitation and donging on start up, works best on 8k at least for all around smoothness. Not sure if the amp draw changes with the different settings at this point.

            I think it's how many times the ESC talks to the motor....
