Do You still have Your First Boat?

Somehow, bruised, 2 esc's and 3 motors later ...Still Got It.

The initial hook was: "... just let the Wildcat EP loose and watch it fly!"

I don't know where to begin....
My memory is blurry: should I count the pool toy boats too?
Traxxas Villian EX is the first serious boat, not too fast but what a wave jumper, still has her though, bought a second one just in case,,, sorry, not for sale .
Wait, or was this one ? http://www.proboatmodels.com/Product...ProdID=PRB2100
I want to convert the Proboat to a mild BL set up , she sure looks pretty on the water.

Uuuuhhhh, eeeerrrr, wow, well technically no idon't. I really wished I did though . The old GI Joe boats / hovercrafts were great when I was a kid. The Nikko shockwave hydrofoil was really cool too. I dont remember what happen them . Knowing me, I probably blew them up with m80's along with my GI Joes, when I got interested in other things like motorcycles & girls .....

However, the first two boats I picked up when I got back into fast electrics returned to me like a boomerang after I traded them, thanks to l8rg8r. They are my Villain IV & my UL-1

I still have my first boat, an Aeromarine Sprint Cat 29". After several twisted prop shafts, lost propellers, new motor mount, and completely re-done wiring it's finally able to run without a breakdown.

Great hull, less than ideal initial set-up from the feller I bought it from.

                      Nope!

Nope I don't, my first boat was a Genesis. It met it's demise with a kind of saw setup @71mph and a pissed off Turttle! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEcF...ature=youtu.be

That is really a nice boat!
Yeah, when I think back on those Nicd days, I feel so lucky that I have lipo batteries and BL motors, makes me all the more appreciative of the advance in technology and those serious hobbyists who TIRELESSLY pushed the envelope!

Still have the hull. Dumas Deep Vee 20 I built in the early 80's.
Would love to put it back on the water, probably nitro for old times sake.
A proboat or Aquacraft .18 would be the ticket.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Jim's boat inspired me to have one built for myself by Craig Bradshaw, but it was my 4th boat.

My first boat (my son's really) was a Proboat Fastech, I wish I kept it!
