Mine was the original SV27. She went from VA to FL, and I don't know where she is now.
    She was named "Shock therapy"

My first true FE was the original sv27. My brother in law and I built a jet boat with a graupner 700 bb motor and 29 mm drive but performance was disappointing at the time. I later revived that boat with My sv27 electronics. My SV had 3 make overs before I sold her to a buddy of mine, he still has it. The jet boat was destroyed after I threw a rock into it. I was running rapids and got stuck on a rock, thought I could splash it loose with a rock. Well that was a dumb idea. I put the drive in Target toy boat and later sank it... Flotation is important.

Mine was an original 7.2v Traxxas Villain which I modded to 6s brushless and single drive, fast sucker. I sold it a few years back in favor of the other two I built after it. Kinda miss it

Mine was sent back to proboat because it cracked. Was a shockwave 26 brushless. They gave me credit on it and I got a miss geico 29 and crashed it into the bank. Lol......then it started to get serious. ...started out with a cheetah....they funny thing about all of it is...

I sold the cheetah. ..realized it was a mistake. Bought another.

Sold my shocker. I'm ordering another hull today or tomorrow.

Shockwave...I just ordered the new version.
The geico. ..I've been keeping my eyes peeled in case I came across a deal. My other two boats I have now that are built and running (rivercat and mini rivercat) I'll never sell....but if I do I have a spare hull in my attic

Where is it? It became landfill many years ago.
It was a converted NQD bat boat, with homemade hardware, 12 round cells, & a Johnson 785 brushed motor spinning a Graupner K45 prop. That was when 35mph was considered fast.

I just remembered, it did end up with a brushless motor in it but still on the old round cells.

Mine is in a landfill as well. It was my old Traxxas Villan EX. I loved that boat but I had broken it beyond repair and at that point it was really hard to get ahold of parts for it because of the fact that Traxxas discontinued them so I trashed it. Really sweet boat. I am constantly on the lookout for one.

Hey PowerDemon. I have an original 7.2 Villain that has NEVER even had power put to it. It sat on a guys console of his Big fishing cruiser for years. It was yellowed out and I am 60% through with a repaint to all original colors. Interested??

Very first boat was an Impulse V1 that I bought myself for my birthday a few years ago, 2nd boat was the following day, a Stiletto, within a month or two I also had a Genesis, DF Explorer, a UL-1, and a Cyberstorm. Impulse is in the basement with a split hull.

I had toy boats before, but the first Hobby Grade I can think of was this Sun Dancer from Proboat:
                          Proboat Sun Dancer.jpg
Then I got the Traxxas Villain EX, love it.
I have to say that the boat got me into this hobby seriously was this little gem from MinicatracingUSA:
                          mike_harvey_jollymotor_1.jpg
Still have all of them, still in great conditions, I got a second Villain EX on e bay which is also in mint condition.
Too many boats, not enough time...

I've been building model boats since I was about nine or ten. They have nearly all been electric powered, some had a string to keep control of them, way before r/c was something I could afford. No idea what happened to most from my younger days, although I do recall one got shot to bits with slug guns and another blown up with fire crackers! Others in more recent years were sold and may be in sheds somewhere.
