HowTo: Change motor mount?

Hi!

I'm going to remove the original motor mount in my TFL Apparition and replace it with a new more heavy duty one. Is there any "old" threads here that describes how I do it?

You can do a search on apparition boats and see what you come up with. Very unlikely to find a thread for motor mount changing alone. There's simply to many different variables to say exactly how it's done. I don't understand why you would want to change the motor mount. Given there's dozens of ways to mount a motor and as many different types of motor mounts you really need to post pictures of your boat and then things can be determined from there. If the boat is still stock there may be no need to change the mount. Reinforcing the existing one may be better. If it's only supported by the motor face a rear motor ring can be bought and a simple mount for it made etc, etc. To much guessing, if you post pictures you will get the advice you need, otherwise it's really wasted time.
