    Smoked it!!???

Was running on the lake the other day and all of a sudden the boat stopped, brought it back in and one wire to the motor was melted, I took it home and researched further and the wire was broken, I cut it re-soldered on the connector and it fired back up, but now it seems to have too many rpm's and gets hot right away??? never got hot before even during a bench test.
I hooked it up to the computer and check the programming on the ESC and that is fine, I have a Proboat 1500kv, Turnigy Aquastar 120 ESC and two 4s 5000 MAH running parallel, anyone know what is going on???

Any time I've seen one get hot enough to melt wires, it was toasted. Cut the heat shrink off if you havent already and see for yourself whats going on. Are the caps puffed? I wouldn't run it anymore unless you like electtrcal fires, just my .02$

Motor lost a phase that's why the wire melted, if you run it will take out the ESC within seconds!!!
