What prop for this setup on the pursuit

hello, i have a pursuit rc boat with some upgrades ran it yesterday and topped out at 46mph but the electronics were running too hot i'm thinking the prop it too big. A guy told me to try an x442 so what do you guys think?

Motor:Dr Mad Thrust 1600kv 2400watt
ESC: Turnigy 180A
Lipo: Zippy 4000mah 40C 6S
Prop: Octura x447

Yes the 447 is too big. An X440/3 blade would be my choice. The battery is marginal too. Two of those in parallel would be better.

Ok so I will order an x440/3 today so your telling me that I should order another 4000mah 6S battery to connect them in parallel to get 8000mah 6s?

Maybe see how it goes with the smaller prop first. See what the temps & run times are.
But maybe just a larger pack of 5000 or 6000mah & 45c would work well.
By the way. The 442 prop suggested to you would also work well. It's just that I prefer 3 blade props on monos.
