Looking for 6S 65C Batteries for a Twin Screw Catamaran... Any Suggestions????

    Hello OSE Famliy,

I wanted to pick your brains and get your thoughts around which 6S 65C Batteries you would suggest to run in a 38-41 inch Catamaran. I have some fellas who run Pulse, Turnigy Nano-Tech Aspect Gen 2's, and Thunder Power so I wanted to see what else was out there and wanted to know your opinion on which batteries you think give the most punch / reliability for the $$$. Any insight from you would be awesome!!!

Giant Power or Dinogy, both awesome packs that actually live up to their 65C rating-

The Giant Power are deffinetly a great battery, but the Turnigy A-spec are a good battery too. Magnum Energy are a really good pack too, I have a few of all three and some Hyperions. Here's a link to the Magnum Energy site, Buzz is a really nice guy to deal with.. http://motionunlimitedusa.com/

It doesn't look like OSE has 6s Hyperions, so Personally I'd go with Dinogy http://dinogylipos.com/

Giant Power may be the same packs, but I don't know what kind of support they have. Mark F of Dinogy is on this forum, and is very easy to contact and more than willing to support his product. He has also taken the time to help educate me when I asked questions. On top of the reasonable price and good support, I have run several brands very hard, and have found Dinogy to perform the best, for the longest.

@ Kevinpratt823 ..... That website will not come up. I even googled it, keeps telling me the site is currently down or no longer in existence?

dinogy or giant power. I deal with Mark and another guy for giant power packs.

they have gobs of power but never go below 3.8v in a high amp setup, or 3.75 in a medium-power setup. They have power and will keep putting it out until you kill em which is good and bad. Most budget packs go flat and this is visible in most boats if runs are consistent. Dinogy packs don't drop off at all really so use a stop watch or timer and get a feel for what you can do and how long she can run for.

If you don't mind using hard case lipos then By far the best lipos are the SMC race formula 6500 70-140c packs. thing you will need to do is run 3s in series to get 6s. He has some 6s but there small. The video will prove what I'm saying. Check out the prices also that will help you out also!
