Anybody try a new TP 100mm Yet?

I was wondering if anybody has tried one of the new TP 100mm 8mm shaft motors yet. I ordered one last night, I'm getting the 4070 2Y 1770kv I'm putting it in my 6s Q mono TFL CF Ariane. I'll be sure to post running video when I get it in.

Better get at least a SF240 for that motor....

It's going to be a hungry motor.

That's not a lot of RPM, it's only 39,294 no load......

Under load rpm readings should be interesting. I was getting over 90% efficient with 5850 motors, that was in a twin setup with an easy prop though,

Really want to put these motors in a twin setup....keep us updated!

                    100mm TP in my Q-Mono

This is the first run on the new 100mm TP 4070 1770kv in my Q-Mono, it looked really good till the collet couldn't hold the power. I had a TFL collet, I've got a Aeromarine coming it was deffinetly tight when I started. I had a retainer on the flex so I didn't lose it and you can see where the flex just spun in the collet then destroyed the collet and the end of the flex, I also went to the SF 240 pro plus ESC not the pro plus II the 240 pro plus is a data logger but it's just a little bigger than the SF 220 pro plus not like the huge 240 pro plus II.

                          Chris, looks fantastic!
I learned a tip from Fluid awhile back, use some anti-seize compound from auto store on your collet, it will grab much better without galling the metal. It happened to me when I ran my DF45. The Neu 2230 on 12s was a beast! The collet let go of the 1/4 cable with a nice X457

I've got a Stainless Prather 230 on it 48.3mm 1.6 pitch, Sharpened, Thinned, Balanced and detounged by me. I'm guessing it was running a little over 60 down the back stretch from the looks of it, next time I'll have the GPS in it. You can hear when it started to let go going into turn 3.
