Who's specs? Flier owes a lot to Fightercat and their customers for dealing with the trial and error of their controllers. It's too bad they didn't work out, but quality cost money no matter where it's made. I'm sure they have made some changes, but you can't purchase a controller for a third of the price of a quality one and expect the same results. FCR, MBP, FDM, VXP, and Alien, all come off the same bench. I've been able to make a few 300a controllers last by coating the board with epoxy and keeping them dry, but when you spend the kind of money we do, you kind of want it to work correctly out the box. MGMs are expensive, but there is something to be said about a warranty. I do hope that Joe and MBP is having better luck.

The specs I was talking about are the ones Joe at modellbaupirate outlines on his site. I would copy and paste the link if I knew how but he says they have nothing to do with flier esc's or any other OEM flier product. That he sends electronic components to them and does final assembly himself to ensure they aren't copied. You can visit the site for the rest.
Flier did do a lot of testing off the backs of there customers, one good reason I would never buy from them.
I fully understand the concept of getting what you pay for, did I give some reason to think I didn't? Who would expect the same quality at one third the price in anything in life, thanks for clearing that up.
