Added turn fins now have problems . HELP

    Added turn fins now have problems . HELP

    I added turn fins to my HK Quanum Aquaholic and now they're pushing the bow drown making it nose heavy at full throttle , took them off and thing are find any ideas how to fix this . Hear some pictures of the turn fins i added .

    They are mounted in the wrong spot, should be at the outside edges of the transom, mounted high enough that running straight the shouldn't be in the water, only during a turn. It's the added drag that is causing the problems.
    Could be interesting mounting them on that type of scale hull. Looks like it would be it tight space to work in back there.
    If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

      Also that's too big of a fin for that hull.

        Too big, too low, causing lift. if it is running fine, why do you need them?

          I added them to try to stabilize the boat from going side to side . thought it might help ?

            As said the fins are to big & the brackets to low causing lift, the fins need to be further out near the chines. The fins only need to be in the water when the boat banks over in a turn, where you have them all of the fin is in the water even when running straight causing drag & lift.

              Thanks for all the replies , with all I've seen about them i'm going to take them off . It handles great with out them other than the chine walking at high speeds .

                Turn fin's are for keeping the stern planted in the turns. A small set of trim tabs may help with chine walk but so may a strut adjustment or CG change.
