clear coat, how much is enough?

Ive just finished wetsanding and clear coating my carbon fiber Titan as it had a few marks and patches which i wasnt happy about.

I applied maybe half a dozen light coats of Upol #1 clear followed by a final wet coat which i am really very pleased with, but before i final wet sand and buff i wondered whether its best to build up a few layers or just leave it as it is?

Looking for UV protection or 'deep finish' Matt? Sounds like you are good for UV protection. I usually stop if I fluke onto a good coat.

half a dozen light coats and one wet out of a spray can, is not a lot. i wouldn't sand it. like said above, if you got a good one one there stick with it. or do a few more wet coats then sand

Thanks, think I will stick to the current coat as it looks good and was just to cover the minor marks which were sanded out
