When I was cleaning my old office I found a Schulze 636 and a 336? in a cabinet. Forgot they were there. They'll charge LiPo but not as well as the new Hyperians. Not sure why I kept them. That 636 cost a fortune back in the day. Pushes 8 amps without even breathing heavy.

I swear there were some cells that came to life at 158 degrees. GP4300's maybe.

I still have a box of 1157 bulbs at the house too. I bought a gross of them off ebay. DOH!

First boat was a super hawaii twin trinity "monster marine," motors with a speed switch and a prather prop. Ran a speed switch and 4 nicd batteries, she ripped.

I was in the process of building a large scale "Dauntless" hull (took 7 years) and thought to myself how's about a "fast" RTR boat just for fun ....the Kyosho Twin Storm was it....my hands trembled and my heart beat hard at the incredible speed....I was hooked! I then built an H&M Micro Drifter and that was the start of the money pit. I still have that Micro Drifter and it is not for sale.

1st time I plugged in LiPos in my SV-27....put the boat in the water, hit the throttle and it almost flipped over backwards!!!!!!......new things were never going to be the same after that!

One of Ed Hughey's Twin 05 motor riggers. All wood, class acts. For those who never saw Ed race, he used a transmitter he built himself in the 1960s. Talk about the old days, this stick radio was the size of a shoebox, with a four-foot antenna! Worked for him.

Ok Found this in the old Archive: H&M Drifter L. Bought from Dennis Whit. (was a single I made it a twin) Twin Aveox 1412 or 36/24/2: (I thinK) 12 cells per side. Schulze 105 Controllers. X447/L and X447/R. Ran it in S Hydro 50mph...24 NIMH 3300 red cells. Screamed until I lost Signal and it hit the bank at full speed. Shot the cells through the sponsons.

                                Last One.

024.jpg This is Kelly BTW. Lives in Az. now.

This was a Boy Scout camp our club ran at until some old lady kicked us out. (The city bought it and she was a council woman and hated us.) I think she finally died and now I can run there again. We had a 1/8th course.

My P sport Hydro is still on the Bottom somewhere along With Pachmeyers P Hydro. Never found either. Paul's went down rate in front of us too. 20 feet in front of the drivers stand. (He painted it Black.) Not good for a dark pond.
