There's no telling what will be available a month from now...you might not want to make up your mind too quickly.

Anyone want to suggest a boat they want to see get built within my budget ($2500)?

I would buy an HPR. Tiqueman has great HPR hull, or hull and hardware.

Keep the suggestions coming. I'm still open to build any thing.

            Kfxguy,
            Great pic's and nice work.

            Kbb,
Do you have something new coming soon?
I looked at your MHZ 114 tax sale kit. What are black series motors? Never heard of that brand and hard to do a search on them. All kinds of crazy stuff pops up if you search for black series motors .

            Skullcracken,
I will have to look into that thanks.

Please keep the info coming. Im loven it.
Im heading out of town today for the week so if im slow to respond, sorry. I will checkin when I have internet.

            Will N.

              Kbb,
I looked at your other tax MHZ 114 with the Lehner motors. Are the Lehner motors worth the extra coin? Looks like $1700-$1800 for the pair of motors and ESC's. What's the performance of that boat and setup on 4 or 8S Lipo? Any vid,s of that boat on 4 or 8s Lipo? I'm not sold on it yet but could be.

I like what I have seen of your boats.
              But
Please don't take offense, but your on line store does not have much to offer.

              Will N.

I don't think he has had the chance to update his store site. Been busy! It's posted in the forums under new products though.

I agree with apophis, get the mystic kit from keith's site. Both the lehner and budget electronic setup will push that boat without a problem.

A hpr hull is a great place to start. The best of the best. Although doing one in a high voltage setup will chew your budjet up fast unless you have a pile of high quality, 60c plus batteries already. A 4s sport setup with the option of running 6s for high speed runs getting you into 80mph plus territory is a good place to start. The hpr, mhz boats are better suited for saw runs and do not handle to well. They love straight line speed though. I guess you have to decide what you want. I love the scale look hulls and don't mind the handling issues that will go with them. The other cats that are wide but handle well take some time to get used to there looks. Some will take hard cornering at 60 plus mph but top out there in speed. You could always build one of each! Look at the fightercat hulls for good value. To many choices!

i know of a certain hpr that tiqueman has that youcould probably get hull and hardware, then add electronics and be in your budget, and have a killer boat, and quite fast.

There were some other differences besides ESC and motors, like upgraded drives.
To answer your question, yes. Lehner motors are in a league of their own, nothing compares.

Here's the mystic hull with Lehner power:

Note that the exact motor/prop setup in that video will not be shared...it's a demonstration of the hull and lehner motors though.

No offense taken. My beautiful wife adds items to the site but she has been busy making cakes lately. She's very good at what she does (her cakes make my boats look bad!) and the KBB site is not intended to be a money-maker or a competitor to places like OSE, so we update it when we can.
