    how many caps?

I'm ordering up a cap bank for my boat that runs 6s with seaking escs, just wondering does anyone know the theory behind cap banks and "how much is too much?"

I see fightercat still has cap banks available with 10 capacitors, is this beneficial over lets say 4 capacitors such as the hifei cap bank here on steves site?

Here is the boat. Its a sport boat without crazy rpm it just needs new caps so I figured I'd start a discussion on capacitors.

I use to remove the small bank cap from the T180 and add 3 more 35v 1000uf 105C with no issues.Gill

If you want to get a handle on cap banks and there importance Dr.Wayne has started an information thread over in tips, tricks and instructions. He keeps the thread current and puts a great deal of effort into it. It's great reading, the t-180 gets a lot of exposure in it, total cost to do is only a few dollars. The fightercat cap banks are not really the answer. I have two of them but there are much better options tailored to you setup that will do the job more effectively.
