    Man o man, what a travesty .....

I ran 2 min. down the street from my house this afternoon, to that lake I found in the cayuse creek subdivision in January.

I got to talking with a cool ol' guy that lives next to the lake, & I found out that they have banned R/C boaters from using it. It's only for residents in the sub division & they can't even use it even though the uh pay $600 a year for homeowners & ccr's.

They had some rc boaters that were using it awhile back, but they were deliberately chasing the ducks & geese, so they 86'd them. Now were all banned even if we have good intentions. Kinda sucks, this is a beautiful location too .........I know some people think its fun to chase ducks but think before being a donkey. You might ruin it for all of us....

I have a nice very well kept pond near my are but they highly frown upon rc boats. It's a shame!
Why are you bothering me? I want to see your boat!

Heck I feel that the fountains destroy the water any way, Heather Farms pond installed them and it ruined the testing nothing runs the same any where else.

Forgive me for asking, but what do fountains have to do with running, other than there isn't glass water around them when the rest of the pond is ?. They aireate the pond for the fish & it doesn't go stagnant ?.....

Fountains aerate the water making it slicker that non aerate water.

Yeah, that may be true to a point Randy, I thought that's what you were referring to. However I would rather boat on clean water like this, rather than beeaten alive at a stagnant mosquito hole cause props hook up better. Yeah, its a tradeoff I guess ....

                  problem solved I think ? :-)

I got word of a new public park that was opened recently that has 2 ponds in it, so I went to investigate today. Its about a mile and a half from my place. It was better than I hoped, check it out ...

There are 2 lakes separated by a 2 lane blacktop. They each have a jetty/warf too..

Here's the 2nd lake right next door ...

Here's clouple visiting Nucks, take'm all home sirislash. We got a 1,000,000 Nuck fugitives here Shawn

They are making their way home already out here Jim. But I don't think they like the east side of the habitat yet.

Don't let em stay too long, they'll make a mess of the ponds. And claim squatters rights.

It is OK when we are only there, But we go to the other pond and run and the boat does not work the same. At the 99 Nats the pond had Bubblers that would come on and off. Any time you tried to turn in the bubbler out turn fins would pull loose and flip the boat.

                      Nice looking pond ya found.

Undoubtedly bro . The local news outta Boise is covering the nuck' refugee's. Their putting out yote' decoys &sillouttes, and we can run our pups off leash in the parks to chase them off, but they're persistent for sure.....

Sorry about some idiots ruining it for ya on the first one bro, second looks promising. Now stop parking your scoot and skeering the kids and you will be ok :) Hearing things like this make me very thankful for our private club pond and no probs at other running sites. We did loose one a while back, a resident complained our electric boats were to LOUD and fast. All it takes is one snob that hates seeing anyone else enjoying themselves !!!....DJ
