Looking to build my first real fast electric and need advice on hulls

As the title says, this will be my first real fast electric boat so looking for advice.

To summarise my intentions and requirements..

- size preferred is 1000mm to 1200mm but variations to that are acceptable;
- mono/deep-v hulls are preferred;
- needs to handle choppy waters as finding wind-free days here is difficult and I have limited time;
- needs to handle 6S power with a view to heading up to something silly like 10-12S;
- straight line speed is awesome, but it needs to handle turns too;

I'm currently looking at the Delta Force DF67/DF90 or the Sniper 44.
The main reason for those 2 hulls are I've used a DF45 and thought it was great and also they can be sourced locally in Aus.

Does anyone have experience with those 2 hulls and can point out the differences? (assuming its not just cosmetic)
Apart from those 2 hulls, what are good alternatives?

You're right about choosing a deep v as other classes like cats/hydro's and riggers are more sensitive in choopy conditions..even the big ones.The outerlimits from aeromarine could be a good hull for your needs.Gill

Thanks for your input Gill, have taken a look at that hull and it seems ok (although i do prefer the looks of the DF)

Would love to hear more recommendations on specific hulls..
And still going to chase someone with personal experience with the afore mentioned DF/Sniper hulls?

Maybe life would be easier as well if anyone had recommendations on brand or even shops with a good variety of hulls to look at?

Well since I come from the electric onroad race scene i am used to 1/10th and 1/8th size vehicles reaching around the 120-130kmh mark
That would be a minimum speed to start off with given its what i am used to.. but what are my realistic limits in a boat?

It seems like i am definitely looking in the 10-12S power range, what are those setups capable of in something around the 50" size?
The 6S idea was a view to start small with a hull that that would scale up but the more i look around i'm almost wanting to jump in feet first to silly power :)

In terms of size hull, are the 1-1.2m hulls what i should be looking at for that power and speed?

Edit - i forgot to mention, this will be mainly for weekend fun not to race, but if it can find somewhere local that does i might be interested in that too!

I am running Rico Offshore - Neu 2230 10s2p.
Much heavier lay up than a Delta Force. My second choice would have been a DF Sniper.

Pictures are from 9/2013, running against the gassers in Open Mono. First time out took third.
Took first at the next race in October.

As you can see it handles the rough water.
Running with 5 other 4ft monos creates some major waves/chop.
My biggest challenge with this hull was finding the proper COG.
Once I found it, I could run wide open the entire race.

Will checkout that hull properly when not at work but it seems like its running ok in those photos.
That first pic is close to what i've considered choppy waters, although ideally i'd find time when its a bit flatter.
