we run 6S on the 4074 and 4082 2200kv with no probs...4082 or 4074 really depends on hull and weight....one of our cats we tried both and there was no noticable difference, I thought there would be for sure. What hull you considering putting it in ? we also use the T180 esc on those 6S setups for over a yr now with no failures.... DJ

PS these are saw hulls not heat setups...we drop kv on our heat setups 1800kv on 6S makes a fast heat boat if you got enough mah to last...

We run pursuit hulls too, one with a 4074 2200kv and one with a 4082 2000kv on 6S with no probs using a T180 .... here is a short vid of one of them I took while working on getting it tuned... radio battery voltage dropped during run and rcvr shutdown boat at end of vid.... DJ

wow that thing was hauling butt . thought about the 2000kv but thought with the 1800kv i might get a little more run time and might be able to swing the x447 3blade lenny used one on his and had good luck wasnt sure weather 6s might be to much or not

we are running a s/b x445 in that vid with no temp probs...yes 1800kv will give you more of a heat boat and possibly use the 447 to. Im not a big fan of 3 blade props on monos but to me thats each to what they like, I know on a heat boat the 3blade will get you back up to speed out of the turns, but you are sometimes sacrificing topend. Even with our setups we are getting a good 4-5 mins on 6600mah 65-130c 6S lipos....hope to have some more better vids here very soon.... DJ

PS 6S less amp draw often....just to add, my buddy Sean and I just like to see how fast we can get hull before it cant do anymore, we are learning alot about setups and such and definately having alot of fun doing it. I have other boats for heat racing, but dragracing/SAW is naturally a part of me and him.....
