Hello all, I am starting a build of a 50" mono. It's a scale type hull of the p1 fountain. I am going to be running a twin rudder on this amount other things:
What would began ideal depth from the keel down? If I was running a single rudder what would the difference be? Thanks for any help you can give. I.will be starting a build thread very soon, just finishing the cf and kevlar inlay. You may notice that the trim tabs are the servo adjustable type Steve sells here on OSE. Just to make things more interesting the stinger is servo adjusted as well, kintec sells it. Both are very high quality. The trim tabs can be adjusted using a standard size servo and the design is clever so it takes next to nothing to hold position. The stinger is a little tougher, it will have a 550 oz savox 1/4 scale servo for adjustment and to hold position. so, what depth would be ideal for the rudder(s). This I purely a sport boat and these other add ons are part of the fun of the build. Whether or not they are practical or a waste of time doesn't matter to me. I am going to have fun seeing what I can do around the lake with it. Thanks again for any help
