    Repair Help

I found some water in hull and traced it to a split seam on sponson.
Can anyone suggest how to seal that seam. I cant really fit my hand up in there from inside, can I just seal it on outside with epoxy or something? thx Jeff

Epoxy or Thin CA glue on the outside is really all you can do.
If any way to get inside you can do the same thing.
You could also apply some fiberglass on the outside to give better strength and sand smooth as possible.

You can also put some hatch tape over the area.
Just a little extra assurance it's covered and water tight...

Squeeze area together seal seam with hatch tape, then tuct tape to hold it seam tight. Scuff area on the inside with long screwdriver pour in 30 min epoxy, slide it around the effected area and a little past the effected area let set and cure . Remove tape from out side of hull . Don't apply anything to the out side that will surely mess up that cool paint job. If you have put CA on the outside use CA release to remove it.

          Cheers, Jay.
