    Motor esc issue/questions PLEASE Help!

I have a question dilemma for you all. I just got a mystic 114cm and amd looking to build. thread here.
I already purchased 2 180 amp seaking esc's and 2 leopard 4092's in 1300kv. I am looking for good run times and good cruising in the 65 to 85mph range. apparently combo I got is not the wisest.
what does everyone recommend?????? get new esc's capable of more then 6s or get new motors that have higher kv?
looking to not break the bank and still have some upgradeability to go faster
    please HELP???

There's a nice deal in the forsale thread on some Castle 1515's that are 2200kv. All you would need is the water jackets and I think Steve has them here in the OSE store.

With the higher kv motors you can use you T180's on 5s lipos to achieve the speeds your looking for and possibly 6s for Saw runs.

what kind of props on 45" mystic? 42mm ish or closer to 47mm. would that be a lot of strain on motors or esc?
also I can only find finned ones on for sale. how do I water cool these?
lastly castles site shows 1515 for smaller boats. 2215 and 2230's for bigger boats.
do you recommend because of dual motors?

I would say start with x442 props then work up to the x447. Those T180's can take a good punch of amps. Here is a link to the water jackets for the finned 1515's http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...am-castle-1515. Also the 1515 is basically the same size as a 4074. Most people don't use any bigger than a 4082 in these hulls. The 2215 and 2230 motors are better suited for the 73" mystic.

I would use the 4082 sized leopard motor or perhaps a tp 4050 motor, which is without question a higher quality motor. I'd sell those leopards quick, they'll sell and you won't lose much money at alsl if new. You said 65-85 mph, thats a big range. The 2200kv is a 100 mph setup with nicely tuned 447s. Its a hardcore setup on 6s, if you haven't run many FE boats I advise against running this hot of a setup at first. 2200kv on 6s will put a hurtin' on the packs and escs I would go with like an 1800kv motor on 6s, run it for a few months and get the hang of things then go all out. Motors have awesome resale value I have a mystic 138 and just kept changing motors till I got comfortable for 100 mph.

if I were to purchase 2200kv could I run 4s and it work if I use high c rating then down the road go to 5 and 6s? (trying to not rebuy unless I have to) I thought the leopard and the tp were the same company. ive learned something new. as far as y and d and whatnot is there a particular tp you would recommend for the 45" mystic duals?
                I am seeing a tp 4050 2220 Kv/rpm per volt 3Y
                and a tp 4060 2040 Kv/rpm per volt 5D
any thoughts with 4,5, or 6s

the 4050 2220 kv would work but definitely start on 4s, it will be really fast on 5s too. You can start on lower voltage for sure no problem doing that. Tp and Leopard are vastly different motors I have run quite a few of both TP always was better.

                    Hey.
Take a read at this 50"cat build that is in progress now,
He is going to be using two 1250kv outrunners with 180a esc on 6s.

The cap bank I mentioned I believe works like u solder both esc power leads to it then put bats to it. I was thinking running the 3 doubled to 65 and parallel to double the run time. Plus it has anti spark
