    Lucas Oil Cat

Guy's I am trying to help out a new boater and do not have any experience with this hull. What batteries should he be running? Should he run 2 packs or one 4 s or 2 2s? He is just getting started and this will be his sons first boat. Thanks Jerry

I was just looking at the boat last week at my lhs. It looks suited best for 2-2s pack in series around 5000 mah, the higher the c rating the better. The boat is designed to have the 2s packs on each side of the motor, the series connection already done. Just plug a 2s pack into each deans connector. Should be simple. The wiring would need to be changed to run a single 4s pack.
