    cellpro 4s lifespan?

Starting to have issues with my second 4s in a month. They both worked perfectly for the first year. The problem starts with a reduced amp rate and slower wind up which will gradually get worse until it will not charge over .5 amp, the other issue is the pack percentage reading will fluctuate wildly from 70% to 30% to 80% to 10% just all over the place. have tried different cards, different packs, new field battery. they replaced the first one without problem. Are these known to have a short life?

Ditto for me. I zapped a 4S charger last year due to user error and a messy workbench, but my other one works great for nearly 2 years now.
Have you asked FMA about this Doozie?
I'd be interested to hear what they say about it.

They just said send it in and it will replaced, not sure if they do any inhouse repairs/troubleshooting. Dont get me wrong I have used the crap out of these things, charging all of my boat and plane packs as well as probably everyone elses lipo's in the county! very pleased with them, just seemed odd they both went down close to each other with the same symptoms.
