90 degree bullet connectors

has anyone done a post on making right angle bullet connections? do you solder wire into hole on side of bullet and then shrink wrap and trim excess shrink?

The 5.5 bullets with the cut out work good for doing a 90 degree if needed,

Yes you can also put the wire in through the holes & solder.

thanks lenny, I use 8mm bullets. I guess I could cut out with die grinder wheel.

I also put a piece of bent 5/32" brass rod in where the wires would normally fit to give it mechanical strength & a better solder joint.
