Mono rudder length?

Just wondering what is the suggested rudder length (from keel down) for a Titan 40 for sport running?

I have a 160mm rudder which I need to cut down and round off but wondered what people recommend and also what are the negatives of running a deep rudder, I assume its extra drag and pushes the nose down?

What type of water conditions will you be running it in ?

Matt on the 41" Osprey deep v the rudder goes 75mm below the keel.

You need to remember that in a left turn when the boat banks over theirs much less rudder in the water, in the case of the Osprey when banked over theirs around 40mm rudder in the water.

It's currently hanging around 65mm below the keel and I was going to take an inch off but maybe I won't?

Running will be a mixture but mainly small chop
