With 10 minutes and some creative Google searching I found this part number for Octura brand .187 cable (available in Left (std) and Right lay) OC187L-240 (20′ x .187)

I then quickly searched on the part number listed above and found the item at Rocket City Racing...

I would send an email directly to Steven to see what's actually available from Octura.

      Later,
      Ball

Cable is easy...it is the stubs you want that is the hard part but I got them covered. Will be making them next week for you. Had to order the SS shaft.

Jeff, I need to make a custom 1/4" drive stub end to accommodate a unique stinger. I spoke to you awhile back and you weren't making them. I am hoping to machine it myself but I don't know type of stainless to use. I can get it heat treated through another hobby I have. If you could tell me the correct stainless and Rockwell hardness it would be appreciated as I will be needing it within a few weeks. If this is a trade secret I understand. I have some 440c SS in square stock I could machine round if this is suitable but would prefer to use the correct stuff. If you are by chance are making 1/4 drive flex shafts I would be happy to just order it from you. Thanks for any help you can give. Jeff

I just do not have enough demand. Order some 303 SS and you will be set. No need for hardened...just harder to work. Only reason you would ever need a hardened shaft is for roller bearings in a strut.

Thanks Jeff, glad to hear I don't have to bother with heat treating. There's worse things out there to machine than 303. My local supplier stocks it, hopefully in a small enough diameter! Thanks again.
