Where to set center of gravity?

I am building a TFL Ariane 2 (36 inch mono) for sport running and possible Q mono racing.

Where should the cg be, how can I find out.

    thank you for your time,

Start with CG around 11.5 inches from the transom. That's about 32% and should get you close for most monos. From there you will just have to run her and adjust as necessary. Ideally you want he to stay level if hits some chop and catches some air. If the nose comes up, move the cg forward. If she comes off a wave and stuffs the bow, move it back.
