Me too. Had to drive 45 minutes because the local store was out of 105 and I didn't want to wait a week...

That is funny! I drove 38 miles to get mine ( in the next county), could have waited for online delivery, but you know, we FE guys just can't wait!

I run a Marine Store/Hobby Shop. I'm glad I have West System on the shelves

For laminating, I've had great success with MVS. It has a very low viscosity when mixed so it wets out CF and FG cloth really easy.

My local shop (Composites Canada) recommended it to me over West System for laminating.

Yes, about a 10 minute drive.

Make sure you refer to the hardener chart:

I had 206 hardener harden in 3 minutes in a ball of smoke in 43c Celsius heat.

West Systems is OK. MGS is excellent but expensive. I've been using Resin Research epoxy for a while now with very good results.

I didn't want to wait 3-5 days for delivery and my hobbytown USA was outta stock, so I tried gorilla glue epoxy inside a couple hulls I was building. Gorilla poxy comes in a 2 part syringe, so I bought several and headed home. I squeezed a bunch into a Dixie (keggar) cup, then mixed it up and poured it into the bottom of a hull so it covered the area I needed about an 1/8" deep for setting motor mounts, cf mats and stringers. I leveled the hulls & left it overnight, it worked great. It wasn't my first choice, but hey it worked great...

Just remember gorilla doesn't like heat. I wouldn't be using it for a motor mount.
