      Gives different momentum around CG, normally you have to set CG a little further forward or drive negative to compensate it when you put the thrust on the strut instead on the motor bearings. For setting boats up for SAW purpose I prefer to have all thrust on the motor bearings, makes things easier in my eyes. But Brian seems to be one of the very few who have figured that out too.

        Manuel has it right. It changes the point at which thrust is applied to the boat.

        Going from a collet to a square drive can easily free up a boat that runs a little heavy on the front end.

        It has some interesting effects on monos when it comes to cornering.

          Thanks for that bit of info Brian and Manuel. Really good to know. Is it tuff getting used to setting up? I have a Daytona build coming up and could go that way.
