wondered if 1700-1800kv motor with 180a esc and two 6s 5000mah in paralel would be to much for a 32inch vee hull was thinking a 447 3blade just trying to get a idea for good runtime and power i might be way off be easy on me running a x440 now on a 4s looking to upgrade soon this spring

Yes to much. Those RMP ranges are good for 4S. a 1200-1500 KV would be best for 6S. Kind of a small boat for that much power. BTW on 6S with an 1800 KV Motor and a 447/3 you are theoretically capable of 75mph+ and the magic smoke. (Don't do it!)

Not necessarily, lower kv is lower rpm. KV rating x battery voltage = unloaded motor RPM. 30,0000 RPM is the ballpark standard target.

A 1200 Kv motor on 6S with the x447 will theoretically get you around 45-50 mph. But the run time will be quite long because the amp draw is low. It depends on what you want out of the boat, 55 mph is a lot for most 32" monos.

1800 kv is to much for a mono that size on 6s (sportrunning) but would surely go for more then 1200 kv on 6s
                  1500-1600 KV
                  and personaly i would go for a smaller prop:3 blade :42mm 1.4-1.6 p or a 45 mm 2blade
                  a 40mm can /74-82mm
                  150-180a esc

i prefer a little more rpm and smaller prop then swinging a big prop/low rpm's ...

                  but that's me....

i agree, i prefer smaller props, because i don't like the effect bigger props have on a hull. i feel like the handling is compromised, especially on a v hull

if i run ose. setup the 4082 and 5s would that be all around setup for playing and runtime will still be running packs in paralel kinka wondering about 6s being overkill . the 180a esc says it will do 6s but i see alot of people saying on 6s that you cant run bec ? i dont want to burn any thing up it cost to much. almost got enough saved for batts once i make up my mind for sure

I'm in the same school as ipop65 & Heaving Earth in regards to props.

But with the Seaking 180A ESC, I race, using the BEC on 6s in a 40" hydro & a 41" mono . No Worries. So do many others.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

great i would rather get 6s same price on batts . and i know i would have plenty of juice if i ran them i can only imagine the differnce im gonna see after running a sv27 on 2s going to this 32 on 6s
