    Super Daytona owners?

Just wondering how many there are out there? If you have one or had one I'd like to hear your thoughts and experiences with this hull.

Please guys speak up! I've done a ton of reinforcement to mine and at least would like to know if anyone has found some weak spots I may have missed.

What was/is wrong with it (the hull not the transaction as they are available elsewhere too)?

If you have a spair you don't want I'd be happy to relieve you of it. I have my full build on another forum so far and I haven't ran it yet. I am still building it. But this I can assure you I have friends that have been absolutely amazed at how stiff I have made this hull. I can stand on any part of this hull not including the back deck. I haven't reinforced that part yet. And won't until I have a few more pieces to the puzzle. It's taken a massive amount of time and effort but I love the challenge. I'm not looking to start a hate thread on fighter cat. I didn't buy it from them and have no issue with them. They don't make the hull to the best of my knowledge it's a TFL. Anyway this is somewhat of a slow build for me as funds are very short. So as I started this response I'd be more then happy to take the problem of your plate. I am looking for any videos not posted of this hull being ran/crashes and or broken so I may make sure I have reinforced that area enough. I am also looking for any one experienced in final set up of this boat so as I may be able to extract that information from them good or bad and use it when this build is finished and avoid any rookie mistakes. Once again please don't turn this into a hate thread, I would really like to learn more about this boat.

I was lucky enough to get mine second hand as a the body work was already finished. But the problems with this and many TFL hulls are that the gel coats may have bubbles or lifts, the carbon/Kevlar inlay they do at the factory isn't the best and may have lifted in more then a couple areas, and seams aren't the cleanest you will ever see. All that being said, you get what you give. These aren't HPRs or MHZs. But honestly after seeing more then my fare share of them after you do the body work I really do believe this hull has nicer lines then both the MHZ and HPR of similar size. On that note though it's not nearly as fast a hull. Thus why one of the fastest S-cat is a MHZ and the fastest T-cat is an HPR. You get what you pay for. You want a beautifully built bulletproof hull you will pay for it. This is actually a great hull for the entry level guy wanting to learn how to do all these things before buying that prize 72 or even 92 inch monster cat.

I've had four. The first one started life as a genesis but it and the daytona are the same hull, my Super Daytona, a fantasm (my icon), and a river cat I will be rebuilding as soon as I finish the Super Daytona. Sure they have all had minor issues but nothing so bad as to dislike them. Sure I would love to have an HPR or MHZ and if I'd stop buying other boats I could have one or two but I like all my boats. I have every type of hull except a Conard and tunnel and I wouldn't have it any other way. So maybe they aren't the best quality but they can be worked in that direction and they are affordable for me.
