How to remove paint?

I am trying to remove all the paint on a UL-1 Superior so I can paint it a different color. Does anyone have the best way to do this? Thx Jeff

lol ok thx....but I read a few places that these hulls are not that well made and sanding should be done with caution as you can wear an area to thin if your not careful. I have used in other tasks paint remover in a can they you just sprayed on the surface to remove paint. I just wasn't sure it would be safe to use in this application.

If it's a epoxy resin hull you will have to be careful not to leave the stripper on too long you could damage the hull, but it can be done. If it's regular polyester resin then there is no problem at all.

I believe I read its some type of composite resin.

soak it in brake fluid ( but keep an eye on it)
you'll still have to wet sand.

Just rub brake fluid all over boat? How long would I leave it on for?

why do you want to remove all the paint in order to repaint? just sand it so the shine is gone and paint.

cripes you guys turn a simple operation into , slathering brake fluid all over it.
