    1527 Neu quest

    On this motor The end bells are glued in. I find that strange, what do I use for glueing them back,, silicone? that is what it looks like thanks chris

    Must be an older version. Most use CA to glue the end bell on. This motor needs a thrust bearing on the PTO end.

      Got ya thank you !! I am assuming no play on the thrust bearing between the collect and the housing thanks chris

        Chris,

        Some of the motors had loose fitting endbells and are also subject to thrust forces. Some loctite or silicone helps secure and dampen them.

          I have 2 the same. Was looking at drilling and tapping the end bell as per latter models. Is this a good idea? Thanks Steve
