    Mean Machine Rudder Location Advice

I am building a MM with Leopard 4074 on 4s. What is the proper location of the rudder for best handling.

    Thanks Pat

If you don't have a rudder already, get the Speedmaser 21 rudder with the short hydro set back. You'll probably want to trim a bit off the bottom of the rudder but don't do to much or the boat will have a tendency to spin out in the turns. I may have trimmed a little over 1/2 inch. Maybe a bit more. I mounted the rudder on the right side, maybe 1/2" inside the sponson.
