I have a fiberglass hull that I want to strip the paint on and repaint what would i use to strip the paint? Would a paint stripper hurt the hull?

It's a 51 inch hull that's a crap ton of brake fluid. The guy told me its that its rustoleum ultra coat.

Try a product called Citri Strip, I use it to remove all kinds of paint from brickwork during restoration jobs.
Whatever you use try a small spot first and make sure it will not soften the resin in the hull.
I have one can of nasty chemical stuff that will soften and remove bondo no problem.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Why do you want to strip all the paint?......hell of a mess and you will still have to sand the hull.....just sand to remove all existing paint, fix any defects, prime coat and you are set to apply top coat. Just make sure prime and top coats are compatible.

It was originally white and dark blue. the guy I got it from painted it red and said he used two cans of red paint on it plus a can of clear. sanding will take a long time.

Be careful with paint strippers you may soften the original gel coat finish.

forget about stripping paint to expose a nice coat of paint or gelcoat underneath, it aint gonna happen. you need to be prepared to paint.
i advise against brake fluid for this reason, especially dot5 which contains silicone
