    having trouble programming t180aesc

    ok i have finished my cooling mods sprayed circet boards with corrosion x re assembembled and went to program esc have a programmer from hobby king that confuses me . am using stock pursuit motor to try first before i buy a motor. motor running in reverse but trans says forward motor red is to red and black is to black . on my programmer it goes 1 - thru 4 but timming is in another set cant get to anything other than 1-4 dont know what to set timming at seen differnt conflicting numbers in search postings on turnigy 1620 stock motor ? so dont know what to set timming at once i do figure programmer out will post pic of my programmer to clarify

      the non seaking is the one i have which does not have timming and all that on 1-4 must be for a car but thats what they sent me with esc grr

        Dude I've read your post like 3 times, and I cannot figure out what your asking.....
        Motor runs reverse and timing issues?

          the programmer i have is in the first pic has like 1 thru 12 steps like for brakes and all that crap but only goes thru 4 steps wich i think would be normal but not options i need like cells voltage cutoff and timming am i making sense i guess i am wondering if they sent me the wrong card

            The 2 prog boxes you show are the same boxes, the only difference is the instrutions on the label of the box. When you plug in a marine esc you will only get 1-4 sections come up on the screen. The info that comes up on the screen is from the esc itself & not the box, that's why only 4 modes come up with a marine esc.

              To change motor direction you have to reverse any two of the three wires on the motor.

                The left hand numbers are item numbers & the right hand numbers are value numbers. You need to have the correct numbers in each box then click ok button, you need to do this 4 times in total so your setting all 4 item & values.

                  For example running mode = 1 & forward =1 & so on, as said if motor is running backwards just swap any 2 motor wires over.

                    so i can change the sticker on the programmer seen some one had a sticker layout. that being soved does anyone have a idea of timming on stock motor

                        Yep you can change the sticker or just refer to instruction sheet for marine esc when programing.

                            Here is the sticker. Set timing low to start with, too high and you will heat things up. On my Leo's 4082 1600kv I have set the timing at 11.25 and runs cool
