    Kyosho Hurricane

I have modded this boat with an OSE 700SC and a Jetti navy 600 on 12 cells with a detongued X645. I then changed the steering servo to HS-645mg to deal with some steering issues. It still spins out if I am not careful. I have made some longer turn fins but haven't had a chance to run it yet. Here is a video - if you have any suggestions to improve this boat that would be great.

P.S. I need a new video person - my daughter sucks at it.

I'd remove the steerable outdrive and install a strut and rudder.

          What radio do you use?
Try reducing the steering rate or EPA (end point adjustment)

Do you have a pic of the transom with the turn fins installed?

Hi Diego - I have limited the steering and things seem fine for the most part but every now and then it spins out. I don't have any new pics with the longer turn fins on the transom yet but will try to get some posted . I was trying to hold off on the strut and rudder until I put the BL setup in it

I'm curious to know if the fins are installed vertical or Perpendicular to the bottom angle.

Your turn fins need to be perpendicular to the hull so that when the boat is turning, the fins are vertical in the water. If they are at an angle in the water as the boat is turning, this will cause problems by the fins raising the transom during the turn, lifting the prop from the water. Mind you, with the cat hull you have they don't roll anywhere near as much as a mono, so the vertical angle may well suit that hull type.

Sorry Avanti27offshore, I had to borrow your image.

Egneg, try installing the turn fins like this...
