Cheap and easy to get pushrods

Go to your local pushbike shop and get some stainless steel spokes. They are great for pushrods and cost peanuts compared to piano wire. There are a few different gauges available as well.
They even have a 90 degree bend on one end with a stopper and a thread on the other end for a clevis if needed.
    They are around 60c each.

The stainless part is a great feature. Been using them for a long time.

Also used for landing gear on smaller rc planes. Us RCers are some of the best scroungers around, always looking out for something new, cheaper or in my case locally available! Nothing frustrates me like holding up a build for a 1$ part you have to order online and pay 5x the price in shipping.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

How easy are they to bend. I love the idea of stainless, but always thought stainless was near impossible to put a decent bend into.

For example, on my Insane Mono build, the height of my servo arm is ~ 1cm about my rudder arm.

Yep I like spokes too. If you need to make bending easier, heat the area your bending up with a butane pencil torch, it works great .
