    carbon reinforcing?

    When i put the tape to hold the fibers of the carbon sheet do i just lay it down with the tape or do i remove it before putting epoxy on?

    I just leave it but it always has a very thin strip of tape. Are you doing a carbon inlay? I have a thread posted about it. May help you.

      Sorry to jump in here: does the adheresive on the tape have any negative effects on the curing of the epoxy?

              As said use a thin strip of tape & put the carbon in the hull with the tape side facing down, also ive never had any adverse effects on the epoxy curing from the tape adhesive.
