Doby it's ok I thought I had responded to another thread :D But hey I wanted to buy your super hawaii but didn't have cash when you were selling it. The first boat that I worked on for my friend here in co was the same superhawaii. I gave it water cooling on 2 500 sized 12 turn motors and a big prather prop and it was awesome! I since fiberglassed the whole backend and put aluminum plate for the transome. It has a hopped up 775 motor in it now running through an ofshore inlins strut and rudder and is a balistic missle on 19volts. two full backflips and one barrel roll! and it survived. My friend said I fixed it to good and wouldn't sell it to me. but I bought a cessa 1882 from Kevinkewl and it is in excelent condition! so I'm not totally at a loss. I am trying to figure out how to make it scale with the 4 prop like the original had. Like MZH's new Kiton drives with the same extentions over the top.

4 props, eh? you ARE crazy. how about twin motors that each drive 2 props? two splitters - not sure what lingo is, but if you used two high KV motors, geared them down into two drives each, might work? That way you reduce the variables with four motors, escs, etc.
How about a couple 6XLs (on 4S) geared 2:1 driving four X447s? 2800 kv x 15V = 42k rpms, now divided by 2 = 21k rpms to the props. Probably want to go through stinger struts?
So now the question, how many rudders? I hope you will settle for 2...

Ok What a learning experiance this is. Paypal say you need to dispute a claim in less that 45 days or they don't bother with it. I called my credit card and told them the hole story and now they are persuing the dispute!! they think that it will be hard to win since so much time has elapsed. But still wait and see. I think it would be easy to dispute can they get a hold of Paul Firmin and can he provide proof that the hull was shipped? Anyway I should get a credit for the amount soon. So Mayby I take the credit and get a KITON instead!"Discussion is an exchange of knowledge; an argument, an exchange of ignorance." Robert QuillenComment

Paul is alive, I just received some stuff from him, but he has been really slow in the past. He is my supplier of some particular parts to my shop, but as you allready mentioned it takes too long to get items...Joern Markset

I glad he is alive I was worried something bad had happend to him. but no communication from Him since August of last year? And no Hull since I orderer and paid for it on July 9th, 2008????? That is terribly unreasonable when he told me it would be 14 days to make the hull. I waited a month and his last e-mail to me was he would check with the moulder since he had been on holiday and I have not heard one word since then."Discussion is an exchange of knowledge; an argument, an exchange of ignorance." If his communication is really that bad and delivery that unreliable, why use him as a supplier?
Sounds to me like this is one buisness that deserves to fail.Grand River Marine Modellers

I ended up with this boat and ran it once then ended up taking the motors and esc out and sold off the steering parts (still got the empty hull with no outer hatch)Comment

I totally agree, and that`s why I`m looking for new supplier for this parts now. He has been, until now, a decent guy. But this is not good enough!Joern Markset

Joern,
I sorry to hear you are having problems with him too. Good luck finding a new supplier.
