    deans conectors

    ok i have been bugging everyone on forum about a build im working on my first real electric boat a little higher grade than my sv27 . ok reading about deans plugs sounds like i am going to have to change everything over from deans to bullets . cause of amps or am i? if i run 4s or 5s in paralel are my amps gonna be to high for deans . i guess its no big deal exept i will have to change ends on everything and make charging adapters for charger thank you every one for your patiance and imput

          if i use bullet conectors for batterys too how do i do the paralel conector ?

              To give you an idea of what they look like go to kintec racing, under electrical you will find parallel conectors. Their pretty straight forward to make yourself.

                to do parallel solder 2 connectors to each of your neg and pos on your speedo that way you plug each batt into its own plug on the speedo. You don't need to put connectors on your chargers just use alligator clips, been doin it that way for 20+ years, that way I can charge anything without switching charge leads.

                  Coming from r/c cars back ground all my electrics had Deans. Bought a twin motor 6s Cat ( 2, 3s batteries) and tried it with Deans and it was so slow. The guys at the boat club changed my connectors to 5.5mm bullets and off I went. Got home and ordered 3 bags of bullets on line and never looked back. They aren't any more expensive if you look around.

                  Fast Electric really pull some huge amps compared to cars which is what Deans were designed for.
