I need help to choose motor' s kV

Hi everyboby,

What kV , 1600 or 1900?

The boat is the Rapid from MMP and looking on Youtube I see many Racemaster or Rapid twin setup with Scorpion 3026 1900kV and 6S batteries 5000mAh

Of course with 3026 1900kV motors and 6S the boat works fine.

Well, I can mount 1600kV with 6S batteries, 1900kV with 5S batteries or 1900kV with 6S...and runninig time with this last setup?? I think that 3026 1600kV with 6S is a good compromise (?)

At over 42000rpm unloaded on 6s that a lot of revs for outrunners, Scorpion specs also say max 5s for the 1900kv.

Why not throw a single Neu 1527/1y on 6s2p and call it a day? Runaround a 452/455 ish sized prop.
