47mm x447 or x452 props are a must on villain outdrives. Here's a test run of my villain iv . on a gens ace 40c 5000mah 2s lipo. She has HPI gt-550 mills, x447 props, bearing supported drivelines & outdrives and a 75A astroflight hydro 212D ESC.

She's pretty quick on 2s, real snappy on 3s & nutz on 4s

Thank you very much for your input, gsbuickman.

Also, I just ordered from MHZUSA.com. Anyone have any negative feedback on them? I may have a problem with my order and I'm not getting any response back.

Currently, don't want to deal with sharpening and balancing props, or spending $40 a prop when OSE has pre-sharpened/pre-balanced ones available.

Based on the video you linked above, our setups are very comparable in speed. Mine strikes me as a touch faster, but maybe trying to control it while watching it just makes it 'seem' faster. Can't wait till I get my replacement charger and can head a couple blocks away to the Columbia River, then get some videos and use these bearing-equipped outdrives for the first time.

MHZUSA is no longer associated with MHZ Germany. They may send your order (in stock item) at a much later day. Please note that they no longer get new inventory from Germany. I will be surprised if they will actually answer your e mail. I ordered a prop just to see what happens and after two months they did send the prop, but I was prepared to let it go since it was not an expensive item.
        Good luck!

$30 a prop ?, maybe for a pair of props, but not just one. Props are only $12 - $14 each on average. I won't order from MHz anymore as Landauer pointed out. When I order boat parts, I order from Kintec racing, OSE, fun rc boats & on rare occasion one of my eBay sellers like Phil's hobby shop & rc boys in salt lake city.

The villain video I posted was only running a Gen's ace 5000mah 40c 2s lipo. Its even faster on 3s, and almost uncontrollable on 4s (way overpowered) . As soon as I get it back together, I'll shoot a 4s video.

OSE sells shaped and balanced x447 props for $39.99/ea, and that is what I was referring to. For $12 to $14, the shaping and balancing needs to be done by me before use.

So, I already paid them via PayPal, so hopefully they respond soon and just reverse it. Thanks for the selection of other places to purchase from.

If you haven't heard back from mhzusa in 5 days file a paypal claim, escalate it as soon as you can if not sorted out. I went through trying to deal with them and it took an escalated paypal claim to get my money back, weeks later. Mhz germany is a great place to deal with. I received my order faster from them than some US retailers. OSE is the place to shop first though, incredibly fast delivery, awesome service. Don't waste your time waiting longer than absolutely necessary to deal with mhz USA accordingly.

That is helpful advice. Thanks Fella. :)

OSE was out of stock, plus the shopping cart was closed down, so I tried. Should be able to order from OSE Friday, but we'll see.

Hor racing for some reason has gotten very bad lately. They had a unique item I was looking for and took a.chance despite some bad press from other members. 2 weeks and still Waiting, no email returns. The sale is listed as pending and now shows no stock on the item. I will have to start a claim if I don't hear back this week. I wasn't in a rush but no communication has me concerned. I should have listened to the others on here!

Finally got The villain x wet for a good video on 4s

The first video us short because the batteries in the camera died, right before the dude on the segway told me rc boats aren't allowed in the park. Its not posted so I don't give a chit. I filmed a second video after changing batteries anyway..,.,

Paypal refunded my money last week.

I had a friend take a couple videos, and I'll link them here as soon as he posts them up.

Great vids, btw. Thanks for posting them.
