What are the rules concerning brushless running? I have finally caught up with life- So Doug & I will be taking the boats out this weekend! Can I run brushless part throttle while learning how my "Thunder Cat" handles & turns?

Yes you can, at the cost of reduced efficiency. Lower efficiencies = increased heat. Check ESC temperatures after a 1-minute run.

You could also put on a smaller prop so things are a bit slower
